SacWorldFest 2014 Offers Vibrant Multi-Cultural Music & Dance Line-Up!

A vibrant and culturally diverse entertainment line-up has been announced for the 7th Annual SacWorldFest, a family-friendly celebration proudly presented by Sacramento State and Wells Fargo Bank. Showcasing cultural diversity through lively music and dance, the annual festival has expanded to a week-long celebration -- September 27 through October 5, 2014 -- with many of the key events taking place on the dynamic college campus.  Plus, Sacramento State will offer FREE parking and easy access for any visitors attending SacWorldFest events.

Bring the entire family to this fall concert entitled "Scenes from the Macabre" at the Crowne Plaza Sacramento Northeast. The Sacramento Symphonic Winds is a 60-piece adult symphonic band conducted by Dr. Les Lehr.  Selections will include Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach, The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and more! Five Sacramento area museums are joining the Smithsonian magazine “Museum Day Live!” nationwide effort by offering free admission to ticket holders all day on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Participating local museums include the following:   California Automobile Museum, California State Railroad Museum, Maidu Museum & Historic Site, State Indian Museum and The California Museum.  The mission of the annual effort is to provide an opportunity for consumers throughout the United States to enjoy and share in our dynamic heritage and cultural life for free.
