Mother pleads for return of stolen memories

SACRAMENTO- A Sacramento mother is pleading for thieves to return a precious laptop taken from her home last week. It was loaded with precious memorial photos and artwork belong to her daughter Beth Kizere.

Kizere died 3 years ago. She was the first victim in the Sacramento area of the H1N1 virus. Her mother Lynn Lane said someone broke into their home and stole the laptop last week.

Lane is pleading, hoping whoever took the computer would  just return the hard drive because it also contains Kizere's last voicemail message before she died.

"I don't care about the laptop. I just want what's on it. You don't realize how much you've lost until its not there anymore," said Lane.

Lane was hoping to put everything together into a special book to remember the life and love of her talented daughter.
