Positive Program Asks How Much Can YOU Improve Yourself & The World Around You in Just 90 Days
Local entrepreneurs Robert Lockwood and Patrick Wuebker have joined forces with area businesses and Army Of Angels (an international coalition of child advocates)to promote a project that challenges adults from coast to coast to make a commitment to improving their health and well being along with the cause. Encouraging them to set two personal goals and go about achieving them immediately and within 90 days. The first is that they accept an “Angel Assignment” to assist with National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) and the second to take a step towards enhancing their own personal well being which will improve the quality of their lives.
“This time of year folks are very focused on wanting to help others which is nice” explains Lockwood, however Patrick and I have decided to offer a dual approach here, much like the way one on a plane is instructed to place an oxygen mask over their own face before their child’s” Lockwood continues.” We are here to not only get them involved with strengthening society for children through Army Of Angels, but also to offer them the encouragement and support they need to make a positive and lasting difference in their own lives” Lockwood went on to say.
The two are working daily to invite individuals, groups and organizations to support National Child Abuse Prevention Month programs from coast to coast, which works to eliminate crimes against children, while also supporting volunteer’s personal efforts. They are using the same principal to assist with health and well being related goals of volunteers. According to Wuebker many of the individuals they are working with have decided to improve their nutrition or get more excersize, something he and Lockwood have a great deal of experience with (Wuebker owns a Fitness 19 and Lockwood is an Independent Distribuer with Visalus nutrition products), however they are also supporting participants in achieving many other personal goals such as stress reduction, building better family bonds or advancing in their career.
The concept has taken off so quickly that the two have been asked to host their own world wide radio show Thursday evenings from 5:00-6:00 P.M. on Blog Talk World Wide Radio named after their innovative program.Wuebker and Lockwood are signing people up for the program during their own unique cocktail parties, which folks playfully refer to as a “Wholesome Happy Hour”. Guests enjoy nutritious shakes, energy drinks and other healthy snacks while having the opportunity to network, learn about the cause, gain support and get involved.
